3 programmes - which is best for you?
The tenkilos programme is flexible – it’s really about how you’d like to engage. Your decision should be based on whether you think you’d respond better to coaching via email or ‘live’ interactive sessions. You will receive the same expert coaching and attention to detail in both scenarios.
For those who possess a high degree of self-motivation a third option exists – the ‘Supported’ plan (more details of all three options given below).
The core programme is described in some detail on this website and we are happy to discuss all three options with you to ensure you make the best possible decision – for you.

Our standard programme involves ongoing review of your performance, food diary and recent decisions, highlighting any areas of concern and discussing alternatives. Over time these form part of a broader strategy – devised specifically for you.
Your coach has an armoury of techniques to help you identify and transform your bad food habits. They will also request specific actions from you to help expedite your progress – to achieve your own smart goals.
Live coaching has the benefit of a dynamic two-way interaction at every coaching session – which also helps your coach build a more nuanced picture. You will receive detailed email follow up after every session.
This follows exactly the same path as Live Coaching but without the ability for a dynamic two-way dialogue – as each twice weekly review is communicated via email.
Here your coach is working with your food diary, history, comments and any additional email messages. It is more flexible – as you don’t have to schedule Live Coaching sessions – but you can still ask any questions you may have, at any time. You will also be invited to two Zoom meetings – as detailed in the ‘Supported’ option.
E-Coaching provides an identical level of coaching service as Live Coaching but places slightly more onus on you to maintain self-discipline and motivation.
This option includes comprehensive guidance and support throughout – but not the twice weekly coaching.
You receive the Knowledgebase with full programme guidance notes. Support comes via 10 half hour videos – each describing, weekly, in accord with the programme timeline: techniques to enhance results, anticipated progress, challenges you may be facing at this time – as well as how to address them.
You will also be invited to two Zoom meetings – where you, with other clients, will be in open format Q&A with a Tenkilo’s coach. Finally you have 5 email credits – each enabling Q&A with a Tenkilo’s coach at any time during your programme.
Flexible Programme Options:
Live Coaching provides the most rigorous and robust environment for achieving change.
E-Coaching is equally rigorous in every sense but potentially less robust in that you may not attain the optimum motivation that frequent Live Coaching can inspire; this really comes down to a question about your degree of self-motivation.
The Supported option is intended for those individuals who can show high levels of self-motivation and discipline; it’s not simply a ‘cut price’ option that would necessarily be suitable for everybody with a weight problem. It comes with a lot of support but limited 1:1 coaching.
We look forward to discussing all three options with you to ensure that you pick the one which genuinely represents your best choice. However, if you subsequently had any concerns about your progress, or felt that increased support and guidance would help, you always have the ability to upgrade your programme at any time – for a simple pro-rata payment of the price difference.
